Robert Morris enjoyed the time of their life in the first half of Saturday's game against Utah State, ending it with an early candidate for Play of the Year.

The Colonials were sizeable underdogs vs. the Aggies out in Logan, UT, yet found themselves ahead 14-10 towards the end of the first half.

Former Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras started for Utah State but threw interceptions on his first two drives before cashing in on a 57-yard touchdown on lucky No. 3.  However, he went out with an injury the first half and was replaced by Bryson Barnes. Meanwhile, Robert Morris added a pair of touchdowns in the first half.

Just before the half, though, the Colonials added another splash play to their highlight reel: a one-handed full-360-spin to snatch an interception straight out of the sky by Rob Carter.

    Robert Griffin III loved it.

Our only question: why does this guy play for Robert Morris and not an FBS school? Because that is an extraordinary athletic play by Carter.

With Bryson Barnes inserted in place of the injured Petras, Utah State was able to respond following the 14-10 halftime deficit. In the third and fourth quarters, USU rolled off 26 consecutive points and never looked back to take home the 36-14 victory.
