'A Future All-Pro!' Steelers' Zach Frazier Receives Praise

The Pittsburgh Steelers used the No. 51 overall pick to take West Virginia center Zach Frazier. Since arriving in camp, Frazier has done nothing but impress.

His technique and use of leverage is outstanding and he was looking to take the starting role from Nate Herbig. An injury to last year's starter only accelerated the inevitable.

Frazier will be starting the season as the starting center for the Steelers. His on-the-field production has impressed a ton of people. ESPN’s Matt Miller recently talked about Frazier’s potential and future with the Steelers.

"Frazier had a first-round grade on my board, so maybe it's no surprise that he's already wowing with his reps in the preseason,” Miller said. “He has the look of a future All-Pro. Frazier's movement skills and strength at the point of attack were standout traits in college, and they're already popping off the field in the pros."

We are sure the Steelers would be very happy with that. Pittsburgh hasn’t had an All-Pro center since Maurkice Pouncey retired following the 2020 season.

If Frazier can come in and give the Steelers 10 years of All-Pro and Pro Bowl-level play, that would be a huge win for a team that has had three starting centers in the three seasons since Pouncey retired.

Frazier will take the field for the Steelers on Sunday when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
