Should Ex Bucs QB Tom Brady's Raiders Ownership Bid be Rejected?

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is moving into a new chapter of his career, as he will be a broadcaster for FOX this season.

But recently, the legendary field general has put in an ownership bid for the Las Vegas Raiders, and that could put a damper on his broadcasting aspirations because of the restrictions the league will place on him.

The restrictions state that he would not be permitted to be in other team's facilities, to witness practice, or to attend broadcast production meetings, either in person or virtually.

This means that he would not be able to interview other team's players at training facilities in order to get insight into their next game. This is a big part of what a broadcaster is able to do, and he will not be able to do that if his ownership bid is accepted.

With that being said, it might be in Brady's best interest if his bid is rejected, that way he can focus fully on his job as a FOX broadcaster.

He has the opportunity to be one of the best commentators in the NFL, as he is one of the best football minds ever, but he won't be able to do his best with these restrictions on him.
