As the Philadelphia Eagles gear up for their historic season opener in São Paulo, Brazil, the team received a boost with several key players returning to practice on Sunday. The Eagles are maintaining a full schedule at the NovaCare Complex, with no Labor Day weekend celebrations in sight as all focus remains on Friday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Several players who missed practice sessions last week were back on the field Sunday, including tight end Dallas Goedert (oblique), cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (undisclosed injury), wide receiver Johnny Wilson (concussion), and defensive end Jalyx Hunt (oblique). Their return is timely, as the Eagles are looking to field their strongest lineup for the season opener.

While the return of these players is encouraging, the Eagles are still dealing with some injury issues. Cornerback James Bradberry was placed on injured reserve after suffering a leg injury in practice last week and is expected to miss six to eight weeks. Additionally, two practice squad players, tight end Jack Stoll and safety Caden Sterns, were not practicing on Sunday. Stoll's absence is particularly noteworthy as the Eagles have only two tight ends on their active roster.

Due to their international opener, the Eagles have adopted an unconventional practice schedule this week. Sunday's session was equivalent to a typical Wednesday practice during the regular season. The team will continue practicing in South Philadelphia on Monday and Tuesday before departing for Brazil on Wednesday. A walkthrough at Corinthians Arena is scheduled for Thursday, with the season opener against the Packers set for Friday night at the same venue.

The unusual nature of this week's game means that official injury reports from both the Eagles and Packers won't be released until Tuesday. However, early indications are positive for Philadelphia, with every player on the 53-man roster appearing to participate in Sunday's practice.
