The USC Trojans are heading into their season opener against the LSU Tigers with a clean bill of health. This marks the first availability report for the Trojans in their new Big Ten Conference era, and it reveals that all players are fit to play.

Availability reports are a new requirement for the four former Pac-12 teams, including USC, as they transition to the Big Ten. These reports, which indicate whether players are "out" or "questionable," are released two hours before kickoff. For this week, USC has no players listed as questionable , setting a notable precedent for Week 1 in the Big Ten.

In contrast, other Big Ten teams have reported injuries. The Michigan Spartans have one player out, while the Iowa Hawkeyes and Illinois Fighting Illini have multiple players listed as either out or questionable. The newcomers to the Big Ten, Oregon, UCLA, and Washington, have reported several players unavailable for their games as well.

On the other hand, LSU will also be providing availability reports for their games this season, but their process is different. The SEC requires reports three days before games, with daily updates leading up to a final report 90 minutes before kickoff. Their system includes more detailed classifications for player statuses.
