Raiders Named as One of the Most 'Unstable' Franchise In The NFL

Every year, before the NFL regular season starts, the Athletic conducts an agent survey. Thirty-one representatives are polled on various topics around the league, including some of the best and worst organizations.

“Traditional choices in this category, like Washington and Arizona , have improved or appear headed in a good direction," one agent said. "[Las] Vegas keeps making changes and now finds itself without an apparent quarterback of the future or legitimate starter when it needed one following last season.”

"Organizations start at the top, and [Mark] Davis doesn't provide stability," one other agent said.

The Raiders have just two winning seasons since their Super Bowl loss in 2002, and they have cycled through 12 head coaches over that span. The hope is that new head coach Antonio Pierce can provide some stability, but the agents polled were not optimistic.

Las Vegas begins its regular season with a road game against the Chargers on Sunday, September 8, at 1:05 PM PST.
