Running back Woody Marks made quite a debut for the USC Trojans. On Sunday, Marks scored the game-winning touchdown in the Trojans’ 27-20 victory over the LSU Tigers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Marks is seemingly feeling comfortable with his new team. After the LSU game, Marks said that part of the reason he transferred to USC was his belief in Miller Moss, who proved his worth to the team with a solid performance against the Tigers.

“During spring football and fall camp, I’m like, ‘Yeah, this the guy,” Marks told the media during the postgame press conference, per Luca Evans of the O.C. Register.

“He’s pretty good. I like this QB. I want to lay it all on the line for him.”

Moss orchestrated the eight-play drive late in the fourth quarter versus LSU, which ended with Marks taking the ball to the end zone on a 13-yard ground attack.

Marks’ second touchdown of the game broke a 20-20 tie and capped his memorable first game in USC uniform. Overall, Marks, who played four seasons with the Mississippi State Bulldogs before going to the Trojans, had 68 rushing yards on 16 carries.

As for Moss, he went 27-of-36 for 378 passing yards and a touchdown with zero turnovers.
