Suni Lee Makes Big Revelation About Her Olympics Performance

Suni Lee had a successful run at the 2024 Olympics, winning one gold and two bronze medals. Apparently, however, she wasn't able to show everything she got in the competition.

On Monday, September 2, Lee took to Instagram to share a clip of two skills that she practiced but wasn't able to do during the Paris Summer Games. She captioned her post, "Skills I trained but never competed dumpppp."

The first skill appeared to be the Cheng vault, which is considered one of the hardest gymnastic moves. It requires the gymnast to do a roundoff entry onto the spring board with a half-twist before landing on the vault table and doing one and a half twists, per Synergy Gymnastics.

Lee's second skill was a full-twisting Jaeger, which seemed to be the completed version of what she was practicing back in January 2024. In the video, the 21-year-old can be seen rotating on the uneven bars before releasing and doing a full twist and then catching the bar again.

NBC Olympics described the jaeger skill as " a release from a front giant to a front somersault and re-grasp on the same side of the bar."

It's unknown why Lee didn't perform these skills, especially since she competed in the final of the individual all-around and uneven bars (finishing with a bronze medal in each).

Hopefully, however, fans will get to see her do them on the international stage. At just 21 years old, Suni Lee should have plenty more opportunities to perform them.
