Simone Biles' Husband Responds to US Gymnast's Farewell Message

Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens is preparing himself to be away from his wife, US Gymnastics star Simone Biles, for a couple of weeks.

For those who missed it, Biles sent a farewell message to her husband on Sunday as they go their separate ways temporarily. It is unknown where they are going, but considering their busy schedules, it's not a surprise that they have to spend some time away from each other.

Biles is set to start her Gold Over America Tour along with other Olympic gymnasts. The event begins on September 16 and lasts until November 3, so there are certainly a lot of preparations that need to be accomplished before the tour gets rolling.

As for Owens, the 2024 NFL season is kicking off soon, with the Bears scheduled to play their Week 1 game this coming Sunday, September 9. After that, Chicago travels to NRG Stadium to face the Houston Texans in Week 2 on September 16.

"See you in a few weeks," Biles wrote on Instagram, to which Owens responded with a heart and crossed fingers emoji.

Of course, it's not the first time Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens will be far away from each other. As fans would know, Biles competed at the 2024 Olympics and had to leave her husband in the US for some time.

Owens did go to Paris to cheer for his wife after the Bears allowed him to skip some parts of their training camp.

The good thing for the two, as Biles noted, is that they'll only be apart for a "few weeks."
