Former Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book was among the players the Tennessee Titans brought in for a workout on Monday.

The Kansas City Chiefs cut Book as they trimmed their roster to 53 players after the preseason. He's been looking for a job after not being claimed on waivers.

Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston first reported Book's workout with the Titans.

The Titans also worked out safeties Kendell Brooks, Kendall Williamson, and Quindell Johnson. Tennesee also looked at quarterback Chris Oladokun, who was with Book in Kansas City but was also cut.

Book has bounced around the NFL since being selected in the fourth round by the New Orleans Saints in 2021. He's also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots.

Book has one NFL start on his resume. His number was called in December of 2021 after Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Book was just 12 of 20 in that game for 135 yards and he tossed a pair of interceptions. He was also sacked eight times as the Saints lost to the Miami Dolphins, 20-3.

Book is the winningest quarterback in Notre Dame history. From 2016 to 2020, he made 35 starts with the Fighting Irish and won 30 games.
