Jalen Ramsey Uses One Word to Describe Florida State After Loss To Boston College

The Florida State Seminoles are the talk of the college football world after Week 1, and it's not in a positive manner by any means.

On Monday, September 2, the Seminoles dropped their second game of the season to a team that they were double-digit favorites against. Unlike their Week Zero loss in Ireland against Georgia Tech, this one was on their home turf. The Boston College Eagles beat them 28-13 to secure their first win of the year, and the first win of the Bill O'Brien era.

The loss has sent Seminoles fans into a frenzy on social media, and even former Florida State star and current Miami Dolphins star Jalen Ramsey expressed his displeasure on social media.

"Embarrassing fr," Ramsey wrote on the app formerly known as Twitter.

For Florida State, the struggles are certainly a bit humbling, to say the least. The program and fans were adamant that they were snubbed last season by the College Football Playoff committee and had been holding a grudge all offseason. They also are in the process of suing the ACC with hopes of leaving to join the Big Ten or SEC, which has since become a running joke on social media.

Not to mention, they have gone from being ACC front-runners to being viewed as a team that can finish below .500, drawing numerous comparisons to TCU last season. That Horned Frogs team made it all the way to the title game in 2022 but fell flat on their face in 2023, finishing 5-7.

The Seminoles don't play again until September 14, but it won't be an easy game by any means. They will be hosting a Memphis team that many view as the best team in the Group of Five.

If they don't do some soul-searching during their break, it could get ugly.
