    By Alex Weber,

Following a five-day opening weekend of college football with games spanning from Thursday evening to Labor Day, ESPN has published its official top 25 power rankings ahead of Week 2.

You see can those right here:

    1. Georgia
    2. Ohio State
    3. Texas
    4. Alabama
    5. Notre Dame
    6. Penn State
    7. Ole Miss
    8. Oregon
    9. Miami
    10. Michigan
    11. Missouri
    12. Tennessee
    13. USC
    14. Utah
    15. Oklahoma
    16. Oklahoma State
    17. Kansas State
    18. LSU
    19. Kansas
    20. Arizona
    21. Iowa Hawkeyes
    22. NC State
    23. Texas A&M
    24. Clemson
    25. Georgia Tech

Georgia and Ohio State remain at No. 1 and No. 2, which couldn't be less surprising, especially after the Bulldogs molly-wopped Clemson 34-3. On the other hand, Ohio State had little trouble with Akron in a ho-hum debut.

Elsewhere, Notre Dame comes in at fifth after scoring an imposing road victory over Texas A&M to start their season. Penn State just behind them also escaped with a road victory against West Virginia after the Mountaineers were a popular upset choice heading into the weekend.

Fans of unranked teams might be bothered by teams like Texas A&M, Clemson and LSU all remaining in the top 25 despite a loss. After all, A&M did lose on their home field by double figures while Clemson looked like a shell of the program they were even four-to-five years ago.

Overall, though, there aren't too many major issues fans can take with ESPN's Week 2 rankings.
