Stefon Diggs Delivers Bold Message To His Critics

Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs didn't hold back when asked what led to his planned departure from the Buffalo Bills after being one of the best receivers in the league there for multiple seasons.

Furthermore, Diggs didn't mince words whatsoever after being interviewed by GQ Magazine . He highlighted that he felt the change in offensive coordinator for Buffalo mid-season during 2023 played a bigger role in his dip in production, more so than anything he could control himself. Yet, some still questioned that he 'lost a step.'

"You can't roll out of bed and get 800 yards in the first eight games. Your best receiver's doing that. You tell me about the last 10. What changed? Were there changes going on? I just pay attention to what really happened and not what people try to act like happened. Like, for the last 10 games, I forgot how to f--king play football?" Diggs said.

Last season for the Bills Diggs tallied 107 receptions, 1,183 yards, and eight touchdowns. During his four seasons with Buffalo, he racked up a staggering 445 receptions, 5,372 yards, and 37 touchdowns.

His biggest flaw was that at times his frustration and emotion overtook the way he acted on and off the football field with his teammates. As well as the lack of productivity he had during his time with the Bills. Now, he shifts his focus forward with the Texans, which will be his third team thus far during his NFL career.

Diggs now joins CJ Stroud and an elite receiving core in Houston with Super Bowl aspirations after getting to the divisional round last season.
