Paul Finebaum In Disbelief Over ‘Inexcusable Shot’ Fired By College Football Coach

The nerve of some football coaches, huh? According to SEC Network host Paul Finebaum, one head college football coach was WAY out of line with one comment during his recent press conference.

Following an embarrassing 41-17 home defeat to Miami that seems to mark the point of no return for Florida under head coach Billy Napier, Napier took a direct shot at the Gator fanbase Monday when answering questions at his presser.

"If we can focus on those things and not what some guy in his basement in rural Central Florida is saying on social media, then we've got a chance to get better," Napier said to finish one of his answers Monday.

Paul Finebaum certainly didn't like that attitude toward the Florida fans.

"He is going after his own fanbase?" Finebaum asked, almost in disbelief. "Those folks who go to Walmart and by Gator jerseys and beg and plead for tickets to his games? I mean, that is one of the most inexcusable shots I have ever seen."

Not only was that comment a blatant attack on Florida fans, but it was nonsensical, per Finebaum.

One more thing here: I don't live in Florida but I was there over the weekend at that game... they don't have basements in Florida," he asserted. "It's too close to the water. So Billy, know your geography, my friend!"

Finebaum, Florida fans and the college football world as a whole seem to have completely turned on Billy Napier, especially after his latest comments.
