Breece Hall Ready To Make Larger Impact

    By Colin Miller,

    2024-09-03

With the New York Jets less-than a week away from taking the field for the 2024 regular-season, fans will have the chance to see running back Breece Hall fully healthy for the first time since his rookie season.

After tearing his ACL and his meniscus in 2022, Hall missed the remainder of his rookie year. Although he did return for 2023, he was held to a snap-count limit throughout the year and wasn't able to truly give his team everything he had. Now, entering the upcoming season fully healthy, Hall is using his past as motivation for himself.

"I look back at it now and feel like there's nothing I can't do," said Hall. "I had a lot of long days, a lot of long nights, a lot of wondering if I was ever gonna be the same again, and God-willing, I was able to work hard enough. It just took some time, and I feel like I'm better-than-ever right now."

While Hall is already being touted as one of the best running backs in the league, he feels he has more to prove.

"To me, I haven't really done anything in this league yet, so the hype and all of that is there, but for me it's just having the standard for myself," said Hall. "Every time I step on the field I want to be the best player out there. I want every team to know who number 20 is."
