The Philadelphia 76ers have continued to remain active this offseason even though they have already done the majority of their summer business by signing players like Paul George, Caleb Martin, Andre Drummond and several more.

The 76ers are being considered Championship contenders already but it looks like they are leaving no stones unturned before the start of the 2024-25 season.

After signing Max Fielder and Judah Mintz, the 76ers are set to make what will be their third addition to the roster over the last four days.

According to Michael Scotto on X , the 76ers are signing Jared Brownridge to an Exhibit-10 contract.

Brownridge has never played in the NBA but he has been with the Delaware Blue Coats, who are the 76ers' G League affiliate, since 2018.

This is not the first time that Brownridge has received an Exhibit 10 contract from the 76ers either, but he was waived on those occasions.

Players who get Exhibit 10 contracts can earn themselves two-way deals or even regular-season roster spots. But in the case of Brownridge, it is very likely that he will be waived again.

It will put him in line to earn a bonus though, once he remains with the 76ers' G League affiliate for at least 60 days.

Of course, Brownridge does not directly bring a lot of value to the court for the 76ers and has never even played a game for the franchise, and probably never will. But he clearly adds a lot to their future with his veteran presence on the Blue Coats and is highly regarded within the organization for that reason.
