Steph Curry's Latest Announcement is Turning Heads

Apart from revolutionizing the sport of basketball as we know it, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has intentions of making as big an impact as he can off the basketball court.

One of the four-time NBA champion's altruistic ventures is the Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation, which he founded with his wife, Ayesha Curry, in 2019. According to their website , the couple established the foundation due to "tremendous need that existed in our adopted hometown of Oakland and set out to use our platform and resources to work to unlock the full potential of the kids in our community.”

On Tuesday, September 3, Curry announced his latest attempt to reach out to the younger generations. This time around, the two-time NBA MVP is doing so by launching his own line of graphic novels entitled "Sports Superheroes."

"Super excited," he said. "This is a first official graphic novel -- Sports Superheroes -- with me being the main character this first one. You'll see my journey through the ranks from the time I was born all the way to current day. All the ups and downs of the career and lessons I've learned."

According to Steph, the "biggest thing" about this latest venture is how he overcame all the doubt and criticism he faced early on in his career. It is important for Curry to get his message across as much as he can, and he feels that graphic novels is a great way to reach a younger demographic.

"Giving kids age-appropriate, culturally relevant books that can give them the inspiration they need to find their best self," he continued. "A book is a great way to get that information.

"I also understand that there's a lot of opportunity to impact the next generation in a myriad of different ways, so I don't ever take it for granted."

Clearly, Curry is more than just a basketball player. This man is well aware of the position he is in, and he is making sure to take advantage of it by doing everything he can to make this world a better place.
