The Washington Commanders offensive line is very solid in the middle with center Tyler Biadasz, and guards Sam Cosmi and Nick Allegretti. Right tackle is a little suspect with Andrew Wylie who did not play well last season.

At left tackle, the Commanders are going with the third-round rookie out of TCU, Brandon Coleman. The former Horned Frog missed time with a pectoral injury in training camp, but coach Dan Quinn gave a positive update at his daily press conference on Tuesday.

"I spent just a moment with him after practice because he was able to do quite a bit yesterday and then today padded,” Quinn said. “I asked him if anything was guarded. He said, 'No man, I'm good to go'.

“He felt strong, he felt good. So, I'm pleased that we're leaving training camp in good health, and that's the goal that you want as the coach.”

Coleman is the epitome of work ethic. He didn’t start at a D1 college out of high school. He played in a tiny East Texas town at Trinity Valley Community College. He put in the work for two years before finally earning a scholarship at TCU.

That’s where he shaped himself into an NFL candidate. The rookie has a ton of moxie and will be a solid starter for the Commanders.

Washington kicks off their season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET.

Quinn really looks stupid with that cap on backwards! He’s the head coach and should be the example! Having the cap on backwards is not the type of example a good leader, head coach shows!Embarrassing for the team!
