Joel Klatt Unveils CFB Team He Has 'Major Concerns' About After Week 1

College football analyst Joel Klatt hopped on his podcast Wednesday, and after breaking down in depth a lot of what occurred over the weekend, he also highlighted the one team he had major concerns about after Week 1, and no, it's not Florida State .

Week 1 was filled with some very high-level performances and then some extremely underwhelming ones. Like Virginia Tech , Clemson , or Florida , who all three looked sluggish in every aspect. However, Klatt noticed something in particular with the Oregon Ducks after their near collapse against Idaho.

"Should we be concerned about Oregon? They beat Idaho from the FCS 24-14. So the answer to me on whether we should be concerned about Oregon is yes. I actually have major concerns. They were favored in this game as much as 49.5." Klatt said.

He later said, "They had three starters back [on offensive line], and Idaho sacked them three times... last year you gave up five total sacks on the year... this is not a difference between Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel; this is all the sudden the offensive line getting beat up front... they ran it for under three yards a carry. So yes, alarm bells should be going off heavily around Oregon."

Now Dan Lanning's team has a much more prominent matchup in Week 2 against Boise State , whose running back Ashton Jeanty just ran for six touchdowns. Klatt also noted that Oregon has never beaten Boise State. 0-3 all-time against the Broncos.

The main reason the Ducks are somewhat concerning is because they were title favorites in the eyes of some and obviously still are a serious threat. However, it does cause some controversy when you are a top-five team and struggle with an FCS team out the gate.
