'Big Noon Kickoff' Makes Major Announcement Ahead of Week 2

The biggest game of college football's Week 2 slate has to be the meeting between the No. 3 Texas Longhorns and No. 10 Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, September 7.

The battle between two of last year's College Football Playoff teams is set to have Fox's "Big Noon Kickoff" in attendance, and the popular pregame show announced who will be their big guest on Wednesday.

As revealed in a social media post, Texas' "Minister of Culture" and the 2014 Academy Awards winner for best actor, Matthew McConaughey, will be joining the cast.

The Texas alumnus who is seemingly at every major Texas sporting event will join a desk full of college football icons.

Media veteran Rob Stone hosts the show along with 2009 Heisman winner Mark Ingram II, 2004 Heisman winner Matt Leinart, 2006 Maxwell Award Brady Quinn and three-time national champion coach Urban Meyer.

"Big Noon Kickoff" won't be the only pregame show in attendance, as ESPN's "College GameDay" is also on-site for the game.

As for the matchup itself, the two historic college football giants have only met once before, back in the 2004 Rose Bowl. The Longhorns got the best of the Wolverines, beating them by a score of 38-37.

According to ESPN , Texas is expected to push its record from 1-0 in the series and in the year to 2-0.

The Longhorns are 7.5-point favorites and, according to ESPN's Matchup Predictor, have a 73.6% chance of winning.
