On Wednesday night, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever secured their fifth consecutive win after a 93-86 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks. The Fever have now moved to 18-16 on the season with a spot in the WNBA Playoffs already secured.

With ten seconds left in the game, Clark secured her tenth rebound and her second triple-double of the season. Her first came back on July 6 against the New York Liberty.

After the game, Clark spoke with CBS Sports Network to discuss her second triple-double. When asked if she knew she needed one more rebound to get it, Clark gave a blunt response.

"Of course, I knew," Clark said. "Honestly, we were just trying to get stops. I thought our defense got a lot better there at the end of the game. But we need to find a way to be consistent there for four quarters. Proud of our group. We find a way to get it done. But somebody had to get the rebound."

Clark ended the Sparks game with 24 points on 8-of-17 shooting, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. She also became the fastest player ever in the WNBA to reach 100 three-pointers made.

The Fever started off their 2024 season with a 1-8 record. Since then, they have gone 17-8 and have become one of the scariest teams in the league.

Following the WNBA's return from the Olympic break, the Fever hold the league's best record at 7-1, thanks to the play of Clark and Kelsey Mitchell. Clark won the Rookie and Player of the Month awards for August. However, Mitchell could have easily won an award, too. Luckily for Indiana fans, the Fever have both players.

Huge difference in her triple double and Reese's double double. Clarks happens during the flow of the game and when the game could go either way. Reese will ask the coach to keep her in the game even though her teams down by 20 with a few moments left, just so she can get 2 more points. One of these players is playing for individual records, one is playing to win games and do whatever she has to do to win the game. one of these players says all the right things during interviews and gives her team and opponents lots of credit, the other one pats herself on her back and points out her records and garbage like that
