After taking home a medal from the Paris Olympics, gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik is excited for his next challenge.

Nedoroscik became one of the most popular athletes at the Summer Games when he helped lead Team USA to a bronze medal, the first for the team in 16 years. Nedoroscik anchored the final event in the team competition, the pommel horse, and earned a score of 14.866 to clinch a medal.

His newfound popularity helped Nedoroscik land another gig, this time on the cast of the ABC reality competition "Dancing With The Stars." Nedoroscik took to his Instagram stories on September 5 to share a picture with dancing partner Rylee Arnold and a strong statement about the competition.

    "Let's GOOOOO so excited!!"

Nedoroscik had already hinted that fans would see some of his gymnastics moves make their way onto the dance floor. In an interview with "Good Morning America" when the cast was first announced, Nedoroscik said he was hoping to give fans a show.

"I want to bring some flares, I want to bring some of that gymnastics," Nedoroscik Makes said. "Maybe a backflip or handstand. I want to have fun with it."
