Noah Lyles Drops Major Hint About Potential Date for Tyreek Hill Race

Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles and Miami Dolphins star receiver Tyreek Hill have been jawing back and forth for weeks now about possibly racing one another sometime in the near future.

And while fans have mostly been subjected to a lot of smack talking through different media channels, they may have gotten a major clue as to when a potential race between the two stars could go down.

In a recent interview with The Spun, Lyles, who won gold in the 100 meters and bronze in the 200 meters at the 2024 Paris Olympics, dropped a major clue about what his immediate future holds, and he seemed to hint strongly that a race with Hill could be happening sometime soon.

“I’m done with the Olympics and I’m done racing for the season, but a few things have come up on my desk that makes me believe a very big competition will be happening sometime around March or April,” Lyles said . “A very unconventional project. We still don’t have all the details but so far it’s going very well. Maybe news about it will happen towards the beginning of October.”

Though Lyles didn’t outright mention Hill’s name, the “unconventional project” phrasing makes the implication pretty apparent.

Not to mention the March or April timeline coincides with the end of the NFL season, which concludes in early February.

Sportsbooks have Hill favored to beat Lyles in a 50-yard dash; however, the reigning Olympic 100m champion has been adamant that if he were to race the Dolphins star, it would be in the 100m and not a gimmick race.
