For the first time ever, an NFL game will be played in Brazil, as the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to lock horns at NeoQuimica Arena in São Paulo. The Packers have already arrived in the South American country after a long flight.

Security has been a major non-football talking point leading up to the historic Packers-Eagles game. Some fans have also expressed their concern about the players' safety via comments on a video posted by the NFL showing the Packers team arriving at Sao Paulo.

"This is not a good idea 😬," said @optifyy_.

Another, @JaxNole_algo, commented: "Hide your wallets please."

"Stay safe fellas," a seemingly worried @SukunaCrypto_ posted.

"Stay safe boys," @NarutoExplained said while also alluding to the false rumors that the Packers and the Eagles are not allowed to wear green for a gang-related reason. "Make sure not to wear the wrong colors."

"Hope they all come home safe," shared @gimme_kiiss.

"Geezus, stay safe lads 😳," wrote @FATS_O_.

Amid the safety concerns, the Sao Paulo government has increased security for the game.

“Our policing will be beefed up during the week to secure the public’s safety for this historic match, with officers on the streets and avenues around the stadium, in public transportation, in the hotels and in tourist areas of the city,” the security secretariat said, per Mauricio Savarese of the Associated Press .
