Five-Time All-Pro J.J. Watt Reveals Thoughts on Steelers' Mike Tomlin

Five-time All-Pro J.J. Watt caused quite the stir when he showed up at Pittsburgh Steelers training camp earlier this summer. Watt, the older brother of the Steelers four-time All-Pro edge rusher T.J. Watt, was allowed full access through the Steelers camp in Latrobe, PA.

His appearance raised eyebrows and kickstarted the imagination of Steelers fans everywhere. Could J.J. be returning to the NFL after a year away to play with his brother? While that is highly unlikely, it does make you wonder what kind of havoc the two brothers could cause on the field together.

On Wednesday, J.J. joined the Pat McAfee Show where he discussed his visit.

"I really, really enjoyed stopping by the training camps," Watt said. "I've never been to a Mike Tomlin practice or meeting. I got to sit in on them all. Obviously, I've heard all the stories over the years of everybody talking about him.

“And for me it was really cool to sit in that meeting and see he is who he is. I mean, every single day. I was there on a random, I think it was a Tuesday, and his meeting was exactly how you would expect a Mike Tomlin meeting to go.

“You left, informed, educated, motivated, ready to roll."

At 35, J.J. hasn’t ruled out returning to the league, but after a year away, it seems unlikely. If were to happen, however, it would be pretty cool to see the two brothers playing “meet me at the quarterback.”

Pittsburgh gets their season started on the road against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
