Gophers hockey single-game tickets now on sale

University of Minnesota hockey fans can now buy single-game tickets to watch their favorite team this fall and winter.

Tickets for individual games went on sale Thursday morning for both the men’s and women’s Gophers hockey teams.

Prices for the women’s team start as low as $8 per ticket.

The Gophers women are coming off a season in which they went 27–10–2, earning a at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. The team’s season came to an end in a quadruple overtime loss to Clarkson in the quarterfinals.

This year’s team will open the new campaign on Sept. 27-28 at the University of Connecticut before coming home to Ridder Arena to play Boston University on Oct. 4.

The Gophers men, on the other hand, are coming off a 23-11-5 season that ended in an NCAA Regional Final loss to Boston University.

This year’s squad will open with an exhibition at St. Cloud State on Oct. 5 before puck drops in the regular season at the Ice Breaker Tournament in Las Vegas on Oct. 11. The Gophers will come home to 3M Arena at Mariucci for the first time on Oct. 25 against St. Thomas.

Tickets for the men’s games range from as low as $25 to $53 per ticket, depending on the game.

Group tickets for both the men's and women's teams went on sale last month.
