Troy Aikman is a three-time Super Bowl winning quarterback who last played for the Dallas Cowboys in the year 2000.

Aikman, 56, has made headlines in recent months for his relationship with his 34-year-old Haley Clark.

On Thursday, video resurfaced of Aikman speaking to host Dan Patrick on his dating life as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys during the team's impressive run of winning seasons in the Big D.

"What was it like to be single and be the quarterback of the Cowboys?" Patrick asked the NFL Hall-of-Famer.

"Uhh, you know, it was good. It was good," Aikman replied as his first instinct.

"Is it dangerous?" Patrick then asked.

"Uhh, I wouldn't say dangerous," Aikman continued , "I think my, my biggest problem was, it wasn't a Cowboys rule, it was a (Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders) rule, you couldn't date the cheerleaders.

"And...But, I still did...Some," Aikman admitted. "And it didn't fare well for those cheerleaders when people found out."
