Angel Reese debuted her new podcast "Unapologetically Angel" on Thursday evening and while discussing her rookie season in the WNBA, the Chicago Sky star shared her thoughts on Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark.

Reese and Clark have been battling for the league's Rookie of the Year award, so many fans have been pitting the two against each other, attempting to spark a rivalry.

While Reese mentioned that Clark's fans can be disrespectful, she believes the Fever rookie is an "amazing player."

“Caitlin [Clark] is an amazing player," Reese said. "It’s really just the fans, her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans."

Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark began their battle at the collegiate level with the LSU Tigers and Iowa Hawkeyes.

They also played a few games at the EYBL level in high school, but their tracked stats and win/loss total started in college.

The two faced off in the 2023 National Championship when Clark was the second-leading scorer in the nation with 27.8 points per game for the Hawkeyes, and Reese was averaging an insane double-double with 23.0 points and 15.4 rebounds per game.

Reese and LSU ultimately won 102-85 over Clark and Iowa. Reese's National Title win was likely the most significant victory for either player, but their road in the WNBA has produced a different story.

While Reese has been solid for the Sky, averaging 13.3 points and leads the league at 13.2 rebounds per game, Clark has been an "amazing player" for Indiana.

The Fever rookie is currently averaging 18.9 points, 8.4 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game. She leads all rookies in average points and leads the WNBA in average assists.

Her stats have also led to wins for the Fever. She's helped Indiana secure their first trip to the WNBA postseason since 2016.

Clark and the Fever currently have an 18-16 record and are listed as the No. 6 team in the WNBA standings.
