NFL Debut 'No Different Than Any Other Week!' For Keon

The regular season is nearly here for the Buffalo Bills and that means rookie receiver Keon Coleman is getting ready for his NFL debut.

After a solid preseason in which Coleman was part of a receiver-by-committee approach in Buffalo, he's ready to get down to business in the regular season.

But for some rookies, the occasion of their first NFL game can mentally drain them before a snap has even been played, but for Coleman, he's treating it just like any other game.

"Ain't no different than any other week," Coleman said . "We've been preparing against each other, now we get to go hit another opponent and put a win in the win column. Continue getting after it after practice, get your reps in one-on-ones against different  looks from the defense and that's about it."

With Coleman being the Bills' first draft pick this offseason, his arrival means that the offense sees him as the potential replacement for either Stefon Diggs or Gabriel Davis.

Buffalo ideally sees Coleman as a No. 1 receiver, but in his first season, he isn't expected to have a big workload, instead, he along with the likes of Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Mack Hollins will be Josh Allen's weapons.

A "everybody eats" mantra has been the theme for Joe Brady's offense this offseason and it won't matter if Coleman gets one reception or seven, as long as the Bills win, it doesn't matter.

Will that offensive approach be enough for the Bills to return to the postseason? We'll find out in due time but first up is the Arizona Cardinals in what is just another game for Coleman.
