Angel Reese Makes Major Personal Life Revelation

    By Chris Phelps,

    2024-09-05

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has been one of the most exciting players to watch during the 2024 WNBA season.

The No. 7 pick in the 2024 draft out of LSU has been the best rebounder in the league so far, averaging 13.2 rebounds per game, the highest in the WNBA. She has also already broken the single-season record for most rebounds.

It's safe to say Reese will be in the league for quite some time. But what does she plan to do off the court during her WNBA career?

In the first episode of " Unapologetically Angel ," Reese revealed her ideal personal plans outside of basketball, including getting married and building an empire with her future partner.

"I want to be married, but like, I'm not having kids until I'm married," Reese said. "But also, I want to be able to establish myself as a businesswoman enough where my man knows. And I think that's one of my biggest flexes."

Reese then went on to reveal what she wants in a future relationship.

"Going into a relationship, a man knows I'm not coming in for no money," Reese added. "I'm not coming at you because you got this, this, this, this. I'm coming at you because I really like you, and I really want to be with you, and I love you, and I see something in you, and I feel like we can build an empire. I want to build an empire with my man."

Finally, Reese revealed she has no target timeline to accomplish her personal goals.

"So, being able to know that, it's going to take some time for me to actually find the right man to really, really check all the boxes," Reese continued. "Because I do want to get married, like, I say I want to get married by, like, 27. I want to have kids. But I still want to be playing. I want to still be playing. So, I don't know how this is going to work out. But the math is going to have to math at the right time."

Reese and the Sky are entering the final stretch of the regular season on a seven-game losing streak. At 11-22, Chicago has lost a lot of ground in the fight for the final playoff spot. The return of Chennedy Carter from an illness will help in the last seven games, but the Sky have now entered must-win territory for the remainder of the year.
