WATCH: Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy Records First NFL Touchdown

Rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy couldn't ask for a better start to his NFL career.

The Kansas City Chiefs traded up in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft to select Worthy with the No. 28 overall pick. The former Longhorn ran a record-breaking 4.21-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine earlier this year and his speed is certainly on display in his NFL debut.

Kansas City is hosting the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football to kick off the 2024 season. It didn't take long for Worthy to make an impact. On his first touch of the game with roughly 6 minutes to go in the first quarter, Worthy showcased his insane speed on a reverse for a 21-yard touchdown.

The Chiefs now lead the Ravens 10-7 at the start of the second quarter.

Worthy and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes look to be a lethal combo for opposing NFL teams this season.
