To say that Caitlin Clark has gone a long way over the past decade or so would be a major understatement.

Ten years ago, Clark was still dominating the Ames, Iowa-based Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) league as a member of the All-Iowa Attack. It was clear at an early age that Caitlin was destined for great things.

She also had the same sense of humor that she still carries to this very day.

An old tweet from Clark has recently resurfaced courtesy of ESPN SportsCenter on Instagram. In it, a 14-year-old Caitlin dropped a tweet wherein she personally declared her unceasing hooper mentality.

    "Rain drop

    "Drop top

    "I ball non stop stop

    " 😂 😂 " read her tweet.

To be perfectly honest, the tweet itself did not have much significance. After all, it did seem like some form of random musings from a 16-year-old.

However, this is a perfect manifestation of Clark's elite basketball mentality -- one that has led her to where she is today.

Right now, the 22-year-old Fever guard is one of the biggest names in the sport. She's well on her way to winning the Rookie of the Year title -- barring any unforeseen circumstances, of course -- while also leading her team to their first postseason appearance since 2018.

The best part is that Caitlin Clark is just getting started.

The girl has impressive talent & she has brought more attention to the WNBA than the WNBA has, itself! The Fever got her on #1 pick because they finished dead last in '23. Rookie leads the team to the playoffs!
