Erin Andrews on NHL Star's Girlfriend: 'She is So Hot'

Veteran NFL reporter Erin Andrews will be a very busy woman once again now that the new season has commenced.

Now in her 20th year in the media industry, Andrews is once again expected to provide insightful interviews and real-time updates from the gridiron. With her wide knowledge of the game and dynamic presence, she remains a trusted source for fans.

But of course, Andrews isn't only focusing on the NFL. She's also keeping tabs on other sports, including the NHL.

On Sept. 3, Edmonton Oilers center Leon Draisaitl signed an eight-year, $112 million contract extension, the richest deal in league history. While Andrews lauded Draisaitl's milestone, she also acknowledged his fiancée, Celeste Desjardins.

“I’ve never met Leon Draisaitl, who just signed a huge contract with the Edmonton Oilers, or his wife, but she is so hot,” Andrews said on her "Calm Down" podcast, as quoted by the New York Post's Jenna Lemoncelli .

“(My husband) Jarret (Stoll) was literally just saying, ‘Did you see Draisaitl signed an eight-year deal?'" Andrews added. "I go, ‘Wow, he’s rich and has a hot wife, what a life!'"

The podcast's episode title was "I Have a Girl Crush," and the 46-year-old Andrews couldn't stop gushing about Desjardins.

“She is so good-looking," said the Fox Sports reporter. "I don’t know what nationality she is. She is I would assume European, but wow. She is so hot.”

Desjardins is a 28-year-old model and actress from Canada. She and the Germany-born Draisaitl, a former NHL MVP, got engaged in July 2024.

Andrews will work the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 8.
