The Texas Longhorns will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan for what looks like the biggest game of the young college football season so far on Saturday at noon ET.

On Friday, Michigan Defensive Coordinator Wink Martindale was asked by ESPN host Pat McAfee about his experience as an NFL coach at the same position, a role he has served in for over a decade.

Martindale said that he believes his NFL coordinating experience will serve him well at the college level with the Wolverines, adding that Texas Head Coach Steve Sarkisian has NFL experience as well.

Martindale said that he sees similarities to the Alabama football running game while watching film of Coach Sarkisian's Longhorns along with the Miami Dolphins' passing game based on the amount of motion Texas football uses on that side of the ball.

The Wolverines defeated Fresno State by a score of 30-10 in the first week of the season while Texas defeated Colorado State by a score of 52-0.
