Tara Davis-Woodhall Sends Strong Three-Word Message About Husband’s Gold Medal

Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband, Hunter, have gone viral since she won gold for the U.S. in the women's long jump competition at the Paris Olympics. About a month later, Friday, September 6, their lives came full circle.

Fans on social media fell in love with Hunter as he supported Tara from the stands in her run to the top of the podium. As a supportive husband, he screamed and wore his emotions on his shoulder the entire time. He was visibly in tears following her victory.

Hunter is also a track and field athlete. While Tara trained to be ready for the Olympics, Hunter was training for the Paralympics by each other's side.

The Paralympics, held in Paris as well, are a two-week multi-sport event similar to the Olympics but for people with physical disabilities.

Hunter is a double amputee with prosthetic legs and runs the 100m, 400m, and 4x100m relay. On September 6, he won bronze in the 4x100m relay and gold in the 400m, prompting a message from his wife.

After the meeting, Tara went on Instagram to share a three-word message about the married couple, both of whom had won gold.

"W's ONLY BABY," she wrote in her story post with a picture of the two of them.

Hunter, a three-time Paralympian, is now a five-time medalist. He now has one gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.

Tara, a two-time Olympian has one gold to her name.
