The Green Bay Packers fought hard as they pushed the Philadelphia Eagles all the way to the end of their respective season-openers on Friday, September 6. Ultimately, it was the Eagles who emerged with a hard-fought victory, 34-29, to kick their campaign off with a win.

Unfortunately for the Packers, not only did they suffer defeat in their first game of the season, but the game also ended in disaster for them. This is after cornerstone quarterback Jordan Love suffered a scary-looking injury with just five seconds remaining in the contest.

Love was seen lying on the field for quite some time as the medical team attended to what has been deemed as a lower leg injury. The good news is that the 25-year-old was able to walk on his own accord as he was forced to exit the game.

As soon as the game ended, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts made sure to seek Love out. The Packers star was seated on the bench talking to the coaching staff, and Hurts came over to share some words with the injured Love.

It is unclear what was said between the pair in their brief interaction. However, there's no denying that this was a classy gesture from Hurts as he made sure to check on his counterpart after a taxing battle.

The video, which was posted by the NFL on their X account (formerly Twitter), immediately went viral. As of writing, it has only been up for 20 minutes, and it's already picked up close to 200,000 views.

Ultimately, it was Hurts who emerged with a victory in this one after going 20-of-34 on his passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns. It was the two-time Pro Bowl quarterback's best performance as Hurts threw two interceptions. At the end of the day, however, a win is a win.

As for Love, the severity of his injury is still unknown. More information should come in the next few hours and the morning.
