The Ole Miss Rebels won 11 games for the first time in program history in 2023 after beating the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Peach Bowl. Ole Miss has never been in the College Football Playoff.

In Week 1, the Rebels beat the Furman Paladins, 76-0.

Jaxson Dart talked with SEC reporter Ashley ShahAhmadi before his Week 2 game with the MTSU Blue Raiders, and the Ole Miss quarterback shared how the team wants to be viewed.

On "SEC Nation," Dart wanted to ensure teams knew that the Week 1 win was not a fluke and to expect that performance every time they played the Rebels.

"We want teams to know that wasn't a fluke," Dart said. "We want to put up big points like that no matter who the opponent is. When teams watch us on film, we want to scare them a little bit. Be that team that they fear to play."
