Nick Saban Reveals Prediction for Colorado-Nebraska Matchup

One of the biggest matchups of the Week 2 college football slate will take place in Lincoln, Nebraska between the Colorado Buffaloes and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The two teams met last year in what was the first season for both Colorado head coach Deion Sanders and Nebraska's Matt Rhule. The Buffs blew out the Cornhuskers at home, winning by a score of 36-14. As they were all season, Nebraska was plagued by poor quarterback play.

That is no longer the case, as they have five-star freshman Dylan Raiola behind center. They also have strong trench play, which was the deciding factor when ESPN's Nick Saban picked Nebraska to win the game on "College GameDay."

"I think Colorado is better," Saban said . " They're better on defense. I think they got better skill players but I think that Nebraska probably has a little bit too much up front for them. And I think Nebraska wins this game."

The pick may be a slap in the face for Sanders and Colorado, considering how much work they put into their offensive and defensive line this offseason. Of the Buffs' 43-man transfer portal class, 20 of the players play offensive or defensive line.

According to ESPN, Nebraska is a 6.5-point favorite and has a 60.3% chance of winning. The game will be aired on NBC at 7:30 p.m. ET.
