Ohio State legend Maurice Clarett took a shot at Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore with the Wolverines down big against Texas.

Michigan had a disastrous first half against Texas and trailed 24-3 at the half. Clarett felt it was the right time to take a shot at Ohio State's rival.

"The face you make when Connor Stallions manifesto playbook has left the program," Clarett wrote . "It’s back to humble beginnings!!"

Clarett is referencing the sign-stealing controversy that Michigan was embroiled in last season. Former Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was suspended by the Big Ten Conference for the final three regular-season games last year.

The conference released a statement explaining that Michigan had been involved in "conducting an impermissible, in-person scouting operation over multiple years, resulting in an unfair competitive advantage that compromised the integrity of competition."

Harbaugh moved on to the NFL this offseason and Michigan decided to hire Moore after six years as an offensive staff member for the Wolverines.

Moore's tenure as Michigan skipper is off to a rough start. Before being beat up by Texas at home, the Wolverines opened the season with a 30-10 victory against Fresno State. The Bulldogs kept things close until the fourth quarter, when Michigan posted 17 points.
