Garrett Wilson Sends Blunt Message To Michigan During Blowout

Former Ohio State and current New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson weighed in on his former rival, Michigan, getting blown out at home to Texas.

Michigan didn't look all that impressive in its 30-10 win over Fresno State in Week 1. In the Wolverines' first game since their national championship win over Washington, they only led 10-3 at halftime.

In Week 2's premier matchup, Texas traveled to Ann Arbor for a top-ten showdown. Many thought it would be a close battle, but it hasn't entirely turned out that way.

Midway through the third quarter, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers had the Longhorns rolling, up three touchdowns. Their offense has been undeniable, while Michigan has yet to move the football downfield.

Wilson was watching and took to X to share a message during the game.

"Michigan a** 😂😂😂😂," Wilson wrote.

Looking ahead, Michigan's schedule may get easier in the short term with a game against Arkansas State next week. However, it will face three more top-15 teams the rest of the way: No. 13 USC, No. 7 Oregon, and No. 2 Ohio State.

On the flip side, Texas plays UTSA next weekend and has two top-15 teams on the remainder of its schedule: No. 15 Oklahoma and No. 1 Georgia.

In Wilson's two-year NFL career so far, he has 178 catches for 2,145 yards and seven touchdowns.

He is expected to have a big season with quarterback Aaron Rodgers now under center for the Jets.
