College football was filled with some major upsets in Week 2. The chaos has begun, and it's now hit in-state rivals.

The No. 21 Iowa Hawkeyes fell to Iowa State 20-19 at home after going scoreless in the fourth quarter.

Despite an improved offense and one of the most consistent defenses in the country, Iowa suffered a loss that will likely push them out of the Top 25 rankings.

Iowa State was led by their defense, who secured two interceptions from the Hawkeyes. They also got great production on the offensive end, outplaying Iowa in numerous categories.

The Cyclones had 272 passing yards to the Hawkeyes' 99 yards and 5.6 yards per play to Iowa's 4.5 yards per play.

Iowa State quarterback Rocco Becht showed out in the hostile environment. With his 272 yards, Becht connected on two touchdowns, while completing 23-of-35 pass attempts.

His No. 1 receiver, Jaylin Noel, had a game to remember. In the in-state rivalry game, Noel recorded one touchdown, 133 yards, and five receptions.

The Cyclones are now 2-0 on the season, fighting to get into the Top 25 rankings. They may be able to steal a spot from the Hawkeyes since Iowa fell to 1-1.

Iowa State's next matchup will be played against Arkansas State. The Cyclones will have a bye week after their win over Iowa. They'll be able to regroup and get some rest before taking on the Red Wolves on Sept. 21.

The Hawkeyes, on the other hand, will have an immediate turnaround against Troy on Sept. 14.
