WATCH: Stanford Freshman Quarterback Elijah Brown Throws First Career Touchdown

Stanford is currently up 41-7 over Cal Poly as it looks for its first home win since 2022, and freshman quarterback Elijah Brown is getting some valuable reps early in his career. Brown has completed seven of seven passes for 97 yards and a touchdown, leading two scoring drives for the Cardinal.

Brown found Ismael Cisse for a 12-yard strike in the end zone, and the redshirt freshman wideout has made his presence felt in this game, finishing with eight catches for 79 yards and the score.

A four-star recruit in the class of 2024, Brown looks like the future of the quarterback position for Stanford and perhaps even the present, depending on how the rest of the season goes. The Cardinal will hope to get him more reps under center as the season progresses.
