We've already got two games in the books as the 2024 NFL regular season kicked off earlier this week on Thursday and Friday, but Sunday brings the first full slate of games as Week 1 gets rolling in full force, and that means the main course for fantasy football managers.

'Tis the season for checking injury reports and watching for last-minute updates from news-breakers from throughout the league as fans set their lineups for Sunday's action.

Here's all the latest news, notes and nuggets of helpful information that you'll need to make sure you're ready for the bulk of the Week 1 slate:

Who Starts at WR for the Bengals?

There are multiple issues facing fantasy managers when it comes to the Bengals' situation at wide receiver. Ja'Marr Chase's status is still in doubt as he awaits a long-term contract extension, and Tee Higgins was downgraded to doubtful on Friday's updated injury report:

We could be looking at Andrei Iosivas as Joe Burrow's top target for Sunday's game, but rookie Jermaine Burton could also have a more significant role that originally expected.

    Steelers' QB Situation

It looks like Russell Wilson is still holding out hope that he'll be able to play through an injury Sunday, but the smart money still seems to be on Justin Fields to start on the road against the Atlanta Falcons:

Your fantasy team might not be in great shape if you're starting either of these guys, but Fields might actually have more upside because of his rushing ability.

    Will Keenan Allen Play?

The Chicago Bears have one of the NFL's best wide receiver trios, but it was looking like they might be down a man with Keenan Allen dealing with a heel injury throughout the week. Alas, it looks like he's expected to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans:

Even if Allen is active Sunday, don't be surprised if rookie top-10 pick Rome Odunze gets plenty of action opposite D.J. Moore in the starting lineup.

Here's a handful of other fantasy notes to keep in mind heading into Sunday's games:
