Simone Biles Has Two-Word Reaction to Jonathan Owens' Wild Touchdown

Making his regular season debut for the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens found himself in an unusual spot for a defensive safety: Scoring a special teams touchdown.

Trailing 17-3 with 9:14 remaining in the third quarter, the Bears blocked the Tennessee Titans punt attempt before Owens scooped up the loose ball and returned it 21 yards to the end zone.

Biles quickly reposted the NFL's highlight video for her two million X followers before posting a heartfelt two-word reaction:

"My heart" the gold medal gymnast wrote .

She later added, "I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK."

The Bears trailed their Week 1 opener 17-3 at halftime, but the timely special teams play closed the gap to seven points.

The score marked Owens' second-career touchdown after he returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown in 2023.

Owens, 29, enters his fifth NFL season on his third team in 2024. Last season with the rival Green Bay Packers, Owens started 11-of-17 games, recording 84 combined tackles, three pass breakups, one fumble recovery and one sack. He posted a career-high 125 tackles with the Houston Texans in 2022.

Owens will take on more of a reserve role in 2024, as the Bears' depth chart lists him behind starting safeties Kevin Byard III and Jaquan Brisker.
