Tyreek Hill went viral before the Miami Dolphins took on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday morning after being arrested by Miami-Dade police. Despite that, he did play in the game helping Miami earn a 20-17 win.

The viral footage revealed several officers surrounding Hill. They had him pinned down to the ground after allegedly pulling him over for reckless driving. Miami-Dade police almost immediately investigated the incident.

Director Stephanie V. Daniels has seemingly worked quickly. After claiming she would look into the details of the arrest along with body camera footage, Daniels has already announced a punishment for one of the officers involved.

"Following the incident involving Tyreek Hill, I have initiated an Internal Affairs investigation to ensure thorough review of the matter. One of the officers involved in the incident has been placed on administrative duties while the investigation is conducted. I'm committed to transparency and accountability to the community with any situation involving my officers."

The name of the officer is unknown for now. As for the Dolphins star wide receiver, he didn't let the arrest affect his play on the field. He finished the contest with seven receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown.

Hill's touchdown celebration went viral after he reenacted the arrest. Teammate Jaylen Waddle acted as a police officer and pretended to arrest Hill in the endzone.

More details regarding the arrest should come to light in the coming days. The 30-year old receiver was asked about it during his postgame press conference , according to Tom Pelissero of The NFL Network. Hill claims he has "no idea" why he was arrested Sunday morning.

We'll have to wait and see how everything plays out. The Miami-Dade Police Department is acting quickly regarding the incident. Until then, Hill will likely focus on playing football and prepare for the Dolphins' Week 2 matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday, September 12.
