It's been nearly five years since Marshawn Lynch was roaming the Seattle Seahawks sideline, so fans were stunned when "beast mode" was spotted alongside coach Mike McDonald.

Lynch spent 83 games with the Seahawks, including four Pro Bowl campaigns and a pair of Super Bowl appearances. He racked up 6,381 yards and 58 touchdowns in Seattle and became a fan-favorite for his running style and demeanor.

Lynch was visiting the Seahawks for their opener, alongside fellow Seahawks legends Kam Chancellor and Doug Baldwin. Lynch was a little more hands-on than his former teammates, visiting with Macdonald mid-game.

"Marshawn Lynch is just chilling on the Seahawks sideline with HC Mike Macdonald," Ari Meirov wrote on X.

Fans loved to see Lynch in the mix.

"Dude is a national treasure," one fan responded to the video of Lynch rubbing Macdonald's shoulders during the first quarter.

Others were hoping Lynch could get in the game with the Seahawks run game sputtering.

"Can they put Marshawn in the game since he’s on the sideline? I’m sure they can find a Lynch jersey somewhere in the stadium," .

The Seahawks entered Sunday's matchup against the Denver Broncos as a 6.5-point home favorite, per ESPN BET.
