On Sunday, former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady made his broadcasting debut on Fox for the battle between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns.

Brady joins the booth after retiring at the end of the 2022 season. He signed a 10-year, $375M contract with the network. Brady will be a part of Fox's lead in-game broadcast team alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews.

Prior to the Cowboys vs. Browns kickoff, Brady made his first statement as a broadcaster.

"We're here," Brady said to Burkhardt. "It's been quite a journey, but I love being your partner."

Despite the excitement from fans for Brady's debut, it appears they have discovered a major flaw with Brady's commentating. To start the game, many people pointed out that Brady seemed nervous and a little awkward. It might just be a case of the first-day jitters.

These NFL fans took to social media to express their opinions.

"Tom Brady pretty stiff and awkward to start. Good to know he is actually human," one fan said.

"Tom Brady is not good as an announcer he is just awful to listen to right now"

"Tom Brady off to an awkward start"

"Tom Brady sound nervous, he will be FINE."

"Tom Brady seems to be thinking twice and speaking once... gotta get a lil quicker on the analysis."

"Rough start for Tom Brady. Nasally voice and all he does is circle Micah Parsons."

Last season, former NFL tight end Greg Olsen had Brady's spot in the lead Fox lineup. Many fans grew to enjoy the commentating from Olsen, but a name like Brady's was too good to pass up. Hopefully, his broadcasting career can be just half as good as his football career, which ended with seven Super Bowls.
