Paul Finebaum Predicts Deion Sanders Will Make Drastic Decision After Colorado’s Season

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes did not enjoy a great game on Saturday night against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, as they suffered a relatively lifeless 28-10 defeat.

While Colorado did manage to open their season with a nice win over North Dakota State, it was pretty eye-opening to see their biggest flaws get exposed by a ranked team in Nebraska.

There is still a lot of football left to play this season, but Paul Finebaum isn't too optimistic about Colorado's chances of putting together a strong season. And once the 2024 campaign inevitably wraps up, he believes that Sanders is going to try to find a way to leave the Buffaloes.

With Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter likely declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft, chances are they won't return to Colorado, which would leave the team perilously thin on talent.

Sanders' reputation has already taken a bit of a hit this season, so would he continue to get beaten up both on the field and in the media if the Buffaloes struggle?

Finebaum doesn't see it happening, and if Colorado's 2024 season doesn't go according to plan, Sanders' future with the team could be worth keeping an eye on.
