The last thing any fanbase wants to hear is that their starting quarterback got injured during the game. Especially when that fan base is the Bills Mafia, and that quarterback is Buffalo’s Josh Allen.

On Sunday, Allen mounted a comeback and led his Bills to a 34-28 win over the Arizona Cardinals after being down 17-3 late in the first half,

Two of his touchdowns were in the air, and the other two were on the ground. Allen has always been tough to bring down, but he injured his hand on his second touchdown run.

"The first one, I kind of lowered the shoulder knowing it was a corner,” Allen said after the game. “The second one, I knew it was (safety) Budda (Baker), and he'll lower the boom on you.

“So, I decided to go up and over. Probably can't make a living doing that."

Coach Sean McDermott will definitely try to dissuade Allen from trying to go up and over defenders in the future.

Surely Allen will not miss any games but will have X-rays to make sure that nothing is seriously wrong.

Coach McDermott said he would have more information soon.

The Bills have a quick turnaround this week as they will take on Tyreek Hill and the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football on Prime.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
