Of all the positions returning most of the players from the previous season, the Buffalo Bills offensive line was projected to be one of the more consistent groups going into the new season.

In the Bills' season opener, it seemed that the offensive line was able to do exactly that.

Buffalo ran for 130 yards on the ground while quarterback Josh Allen was sacked just twice in the Bills' 34-28 victory over the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon.

A big part of that success? The offensive line.

The Bills erased an early 14-point deficit to come back and lead by as many as 11 before holding on in the final minutes to win. Buffalo's offensive line opening holes for both Allen and James Cook certainly helped as well.

Veterans like Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown knew how important they would be going into this year due to the team's off-season adjustments on both sides of the ball.

Being able to contain Arizona's improved defensive line is something that will go a long way for Buffalo proving they still belong among the top players in the NFL today.

Even though the group will have plenty to prove over the next few weeks as well.
